Laughter. Energy. Sun. Ideas. That’s how our first Young Weekend felt. Nearly 30 people from the Netherlands and Spain came together in Valencia — not just to meet, but to connect, share and recharge the fearless spirit that makes Young. what it is.
No formalities. No endless talks. Just games, food, and a vibe that felt real. A scavenger hunt through the city, paella by the sea, rooftop drinks at night. Simple moments that turned into something bigger: trust, friendship, and the energy to build.
On Saturday the focus shifted to ideas. Bold ones. Out in nature, sitting together we asked: What does the world need right now? What kind of venture should Young. create next? Answers came fast, raw and fearless. People picked each other’s ideas, pitched them, challenged them, improved them. This is what happens when disruptors unite.
But Young Weekend was more than fun or brainstorming. It was a statement. Proof that when people come together without barriers, innovation flows naturally. Every laugh, every debate, every shared meal made our team stronger — and reminded us why community is the real engine of growth.
The rest of the day? A barbecue, tennis, swimming, just relaxing in the sun. Because building ventures takes energy — and weekends like this give it back.
This first Young Weekend showed us that culture is not built in boardrooms. It’s built outdoors, with food, with music, with people who dare to think differently.
