On 5 December, the YOUNG Spain team came together in Valencia for their Christmas lunch, gathering people from the holding and different ventures around the same table. It was a moment to pause the day-to-day, share time offline, and reconnect as one ecosystem.

The lunch took place at TATEL Valencia, where team members from across Spain enjoyed an unhurried afternoon, good food and the kind of conversations that don’t usually fit into a meeting agenda. Sometimes the most important projects don’t happen in meeting rooms, but around a shared table.

People from different ventures, roles and cities had the chance to sit side by side, exchange perspectives, and get to know the faces behind the emails and calls that keep the group moving every day. It was less about formal speeches and more about creating space for the informal moments that strengthen trust and collaboration over time.
Bringing together teams from across ventures is how we keep one ecosystem, not many separate stories.

After lunch, the team spent the rest of the day enjoying the city and each other’s company, extending the conversation beyond the restaurant and into the streets of Valencia. Walking, talking, and simply being together turned the afternoon into a quiet reminder of why culture is built in small moments, not only in big milestones.

As the year begins to close, this Christmas lunch in Valencia became a simple but meaningful marker in the journey of YOUNG Spain: a day to connect, recharge, and look ahead to what’s next with the sense of shared purpose that comes from spending time together.
In the end, days like this are not a break from the work, they’re part of what makes the work possible.
Follow the journey. Join the movement. Be part of YOUNG.
