During the Cape Town Beach Volleyball Tournament, the team connected with Anne Siroky, a well-known figure in the local volleyball community who has spent years creating opportunities for young people.

As Schools Programme Coordinator, she helped organise free access so that learners from different schools could attend the matches and experience world-class volleyball on their own beach in Camps Bay, an unforgettable moment for hundreds of students.
Sometimes all a young person needs is to see what’s possible.
Her commitment goes far beyond sport. Anne is now preparing to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for children and community programmes, using this challenge to keep opening doors for the next generation. To support this initiative and help amplify its impact, YOUNG contributed €2,500 towards her fundraising journey.

Impact starts small and grows through people who care.
It was a reminder of how powerful it can be when sport, community and opportunity meet in the same place — and of the people who quietly make those moments possible.
Follow the journey. Join the movement. Be part of YOUNG.
