As an Editorial Intern at Young Media, you’ll be at the heart of our content creation process. Your role will be crucial in shaping the stories and visuals we share with our audience. From finding the hottest news to editing short videos and crafting social posts, you’ll get hands-on experience and the opportunity to influence the direction of our platform.
What you’ll do:
– Content Curation: Discover and research relevant, exciting news and trends that resonate with our audience. Understanding what drives youth culture is essential.
– Video & Post Editing: Create and edit visually engaging short videos and social media posts. Experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite or apps like Capcut is a plus.
– Creative Concepts: Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop fresh and innovative content ideas. We love out-of-the-box thinkers who bring new perspectives to the table.
– Strategic Contribution: Be involved in key decisions and help shape the overall direction of our youth platform. Your voice matters here, and we want your creative input!
Who we’re looking for:
– HBO-level education, preferably in media, communication, or a related field.
– Passion for youth culture and a solid understanding of social media.
– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Creative mindset with an eye for detail and a drive to contribute to the platform’s success.
– Fluent in Dutch, with excellent spelling and grammar.
– Proactive attitude and the desire to build something impactful.
– Available from January 2025.
