Job Description:
What will you be doing?
As an Audio Intern, you’ll work with our team of producers, editors, and presenters to shape the sound of our podcasts and video content. You’ll be involved in every step of the production process, from concept to launch. Here’s what you’ll be working on:
– Designing audio for podcasts and video productions, including jingles, bumpers, sound effects, and mixing.
– Supporting our audio and video projects with creative sound design and technical expertise.
– Learning how to create unforgettable jingles and soundscapes that enhance storytelling.
– Collaborating with colleagues from various fields to ensure cohesive and impactful productions.
– Occasionally working on audio for video, supporting multi-media campaigns.
What we ask :
– You think in sound—whether it’s music, effects, or ambient atmospheres, audio is your world.
– You’re an avid podcast listener with a strong sense of how great audio should sound.
– You can step into the shoes of different audiences and tailor your work accordingly.
– You have a quick creative mind, able to turn conceptual ideas into sound experiences.
– You have a deep interest in the latest plugins and audio techniques.
– You can craft compelling narratives using music, sound effects, and carefully chosen quotes.
– You have experience with audio editing software like Ableton, Pro Tools (or equivalent).
– You’re open to learning basic video editing in Premiere Pro.
– You have a knack for spotting funny or standout moments in a production and translating them into other media channels, like social media.
– Available from January 2025.
